Full judgment
1. This appeal is struck out, pursuant to Rule 8(3)(a) of the Tribunal Procedure (First-tier Tribunal) (General Regulatory Chamber) Rules 2009 (‘the Rules’) as the Appellant failed to comply with a Direction of a Legal Officer of the Tribunal dated 22 September 2025 to, file a copy of the decision under appeal by 6 October 2025, he also having failed to comply Directions dated 12 June 2025, to the same effect, requiring a copy of the decision under appeal to be filed within 28 days of the date of those Directions. 2. The Appellant failed to comply with either set of Directions in that regard and has continued to fail to comply to date. He furnished correspondence from the Respondent dated 26 February 2025 of its intention to remove the Appellant’s name from the Register of Approved Driving Instructors, pursuant to section 128(2) (c) and (d) of the Road Traffic Act 1988 , as amended, he having failed a Standards Check test on 25 September 2023 and failed to attend for a test on 24 February 2025. This correspondence was not a Decision of the Respondent that could be the subject of an appeal. A purported appeal was lodged by the Appellant on 26 May 2025, 10 June 2025 and 4 October 2025 (the last, even if valid, as being a complete appeal, being out of time) 3. The said Directions dated 22 September 2025 also stated that failure by the Appellant to comply with the Directions could lead to the Tribunal striking out the purported appeal for failure to comply with Directions issued by the Tribunal. 4. The purported appeals, in addition, were incomplete in any event, pursuant to Rule 22(3) of the Rules. Signed: Tribunal Judge McMahon Date: 17 October 2025
